We combine the best of everything to satisfy everyone’s needs – from the vibrant city of Derby to the picturesque market towns of Chesterfield, Buxton and Leek and the breath-taking countryside of the Peak District National Park.
Derby is the most central city in the UK and has great road and rail links with the rest of the country as well as easy access to two international airports at East Midlands and Birmingham.
A small and friendly city, Derby has more than 700 acres of open space, a real sense of community, rich multicultural heritage and plentiful shops, bars, restaurants and sports facilities.
Located in the magnificent Devonshire Dome our Buxton campus rests high above this picturesque market town on the edge of the stunning Peak District National Park. Home to boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, the Pavillion Gardens and the famous Buxton Opera House, it has plenty to suit all tastes. Buxton is within easy reach of Manchester airport and has regular train services to the city centre.
Perfectly situated within half an hour of the major cities of Sheffield, Derby and Manchester, Chesterfield balances the intimacy of a charming market town with a "city centre" vibrancy. Conveniently compact with all amenities within easy reach, it boasts two shopping centres, a great choice of bars and restaurants and one of the largest open air markets in the area.
Leek is a vibrant and thriving market town in the Staffordshire Moorlands, on the edge of the Peak District, offering opportunities to relax and shop at a range of local shops, bars and bistros. The College has historical links to the area, and particularly Leek School of Art which has links back to William Morris.
