About the role

Derby Business School offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, in the discipline areas of Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Leadership, Logistics, Marketing and People Management. From day one, our students are mixing with real business leaders, and our commitment to real-world learning is highlighted throughout their studies, with field trips, networking opportunities and work placements. Our students can also take advantage of the University’s ‘Go Places Go Further’ programme, and study abroad at partner institutions in countries such as Belgium, Finland, Germany and Spain.

We generate, communicate and apply knowledge and insights for the direct benefit of our students, partners and community. Our researchers include dedicated research centre staff, College researchers, PhD and professional doctorate researchers as well as visiting professors and fellows. Research within the College is organised around three research centres each led by Professors.

We are looking to add to our growing team at Derby Business School. The successful candidate will be required to deliver an innovative and flexible range of learning and teaching materials across modules that provide high quality, accessible learning opportunities and an exceptional student experience in line with the University’s strategic objectives, ensuring that employability and ‘real-world’ learning are at the heart of the curriculum. We expect successful candidates to engage in research, which influences leading edge practice, informs and inspires a research-led curriculum and contributes to continuing subject expertise.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expect everyone who works for us to also share this commitment and to treat people with courtesy and respect.

Applications from job seekers who require Tier 2 sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications.
