The successful candidate will join a team of enthusiastic, committed and friendly staff delivering Nursing and Health Care education at the University of Derby. The post-holder will support the management of our current  post-registration education provision, in particular our Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) and Community Specialist Practice (CSP) programmes. The post-holder would also work with the Head for post registration nursing, and all Heads within the School, to develop our portfolio for registered health care staff.

The post is based in the Health Care Practice department; one of three departments within the College of Health and Social Care. The post holder will be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues across the College. The College offers programmes ranging from foundation degree through to doctoral study.

The vacancy is related to the delivery of a specialist practice nursing qualifications in occupational health nursing.The post holder will therefore be required to have teaching experience and hold registration on the third part of the register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as an occupational health nurse.

Candidates should be innovative and creative in their role, whilst possessing a high standard of skill and expertise within their specialism.
