As part of our continued success and expansion in Criminology , we are seeking to appoint an established academic to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong research or professional background and will help mould and direct our distinctive offer in criminology.

While we want to attract applications from all areas of criminology we are particularly interested in candidates with a specialist knowledge or interest in Crimnail Psychology or Policing.

Successful candidates will be required to develop and deliver an innovative and flexible range of learning and teaching materials in a relevant subject area across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that provide high quality, accessible learning opportunities and an exceptional student experience in line with the University’s strategic objectives, ensuring that employability and ‘real-world’ learning are at the heart of the curriculum.

In addition the successful candidate will be required to engage in research which influences leading edge practice, informs and inspires a research-led curriculum and contributes to continuing subject expertise. The post holder will also be required to undertake academic administration duties associated with the role which may include programme leadership.
